Communication at Primrose Care Farm

At Primrose Care Farm, we understand that placing a loved one in someone else's care is a big step. We believe that building trusting relationships with families is just as important as caring for our companions, and we are committed to keeping you informed, involved and reassured every step of the way.

A Dedicated Key Care Farmer

Each companion is allocated their own Key Care Farmer who will take the time to get to know them as an individual – understanding their life story, interests, routines and what brings them joy.

Your Key Care Farmer will also become your main point of contact, providing regular updates about your loved one's time at the farm, celebrating achievements, sharing memorable moments and discussing any changes you may wish to know about.

Stay Connected Your Way

We know that every family prefers to communicate differently, so we offer a range of ways to stay in touch.

WhatsApp Updates

Many families enjoy receiving photos and short updates throughout the day via WhatsApp. Whether it's feeding the alpacas, collecting eggs, enjoying a walk around the farm or sharing lunch with friends, these little moments provide reassurance and help you feel connected to your loved one's day.

Face-to-Face Conversations

Sometimes, nothing replaces a friendly chat. We always make time to speak with families at drop-off or collection, giving you the opportunity to ask questions, discuss how your loved one has been, or simply hear about the highlights of their day.

Telephone and Email

If you're unable to visit in person, we're always happy to provide updates by telephone or email. We encourage families to get in touch whenever they have questions or simply want to check in.

Working Together

We see families as partners in care. Your knowledge, experience and understanding of your loved one are invaluable in helping us provide personalised, meaningful support.

We welcome regular feedback and believe open, honest communication helps us continually adapt activities and care to meet each companion's individual needs.
