Our Vision
‘‘Where Care Grows Naturally’’
Our Vision is firmly grounded in the principles of the government’s ‘Living Well with Dementia: A National Dementia Strategy’. Everything we do is shaped by its core aims: early support, personalised and meaningful care, social connection and helping people maintain a fulfilling quality of life.
We understand that every person is unique and has individual requirements. We will take time to ensure that their needs are met and that any preferences and familiar routines are incorporated into a tailored care plan for each person independently.
We aim to give reassurance with holistic and compassionate care, helping to calm any anxiety, confusion or distress. Our approach is to see the whole person not just their illness, by addressing their physical, mental, emotional and social needs to achieve overall wellbeing.
Growing Care, Nurturing Independence
Respite That Makes a Difference
Dementia affects the whole family. We offer holistic daycare respite that truly supports both guests and their carers. We work closely with local charities and dementia support organisations to ensure every family feels understood, supported and part of a caring community. Where needed we collaborate with allied health professionals to provide personalised therapeutic care and mobility support.
Our approach nurtures emotional, physical and social wellbeing through gentle outdoor and indoor activities, creative sessions and time with our animals. For those who prefer a quieter pace, our indoor spaces provide a relaxing, home-style environment designed for comfort and sociability. Here guests can enjoy comfortable seating and a warm welcoming atmosphere.
Fresh, Simple, Nutritious Lunches
Good nutrition is essential and guests will enjoy healthy lunches made with fresh ingredients often grown here on the farm with their help. They can choose from nutritious food options tailored to their needs. Guests can if they wish help prepare meals and snacks in a safe, supportive setting, encouraging independence.
