Something Special is Coming to North Yorkshire: Welcome to Primrose Care Farm
At Primrose Care Farm, we're incredibly excited to be preparing to open our gates and welcome visitors to our upcoming Open Days.
Nestled in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside, Primrose Care Farm has been created with a simple but powerful vision: to provide a safe, nurturing and meaningful environment for people living with dementia, while supporting families and connecting communities through the therapeutic benefits of nature, animals and farming.
As we move closer to opening, we couldn't be more excited to share what we've been working on.
What is Primrose Care Farm?
Primrose Care Farm is a dementia-friendly day care farm where individuals can enjoy the sights, sounds and experiences of rural life in a supportive and person-centred environment.
We believe that spending time outdoors, connecting with animals, engaging in purposeful activities and enjoying meaningful social interaction can have a hugely positive impact on wellbeing, confidence and quality of life.
From meeting our friendly animals and exploring the farm to taking part in seasonal activities and simply enjoying the fresh air, every aspect of Primrose Care Farm has been designed to create opportunities for connection, enjoyment and purpose.
Join Us at Our Open Days
Our upcoming Open Days are a wonderful opportunity to come and see what Primrose Care Farm is all about.
Dates confirmed;
Wednesday 24th June 12noon-7pm
Friday 3rd July 8.30am- 3.30pm
Saturday 11th July 10am- 2pm
Whether you're a family member, healthcare professional, potential referral partner, volunteer or simply a member of the local community, we'd love to welcome you.
During the Open Days you'll have the opportunity to:
• Meet the Primrose Care Farm team
• Explore our beautiful farm setting
• Learn more about care farming and dementia support
• Ask questions and find out about our plans for the future
Most importantly, you'll be able to experience first-hand the warm and welcoming environment we're creating.
