Nestled near Carlton Husthwaite, just outside Thirsk, Primrose Care Farm is preparing to open its gates and we truly can’t wait.
Our care farm has been thoughtfully created to provide a safe, nurturing and welcoming environment for people living with dementia and memory-related conditions. Surrounded by the calm of the countryside, we aim to offer meaningful days filled with gentle activity, companionship, fresh air and the therapeutic benefits of being close to nature.
At Primrose Care Farm, we understand that dementia care is not one-size-fits-all. Our approach is person-centred, supportive and compassionate, helping individuals maintain independence, confidence and dignity while enjoying structured, purposeful days.
Whether it’s spending time outdoors, engaging in farm-based activities, or simply enjoying a cup of tea and conversation in a peaceful setting, our goal is simple: to create moments of joy and reassurance for both our guests and their families.
